Chicken Butchering Class

TBA 10:00 a.m. – Noon, rain or shine.  Learn to cut, bleed, scald, pluck, and clean the interior cavity of a chicken.  Harvest & take home two 2-year-old laying hens that will be amazing for the soup pot, or young pastured broilers, depending on date!  Learn to sharpen knives properly and how to part out a whole chicken.  Bring a cooler with ice!  Otherwise, it will be unsafe to transport the meat. There will be beverages available, and aprons, towels and a knife per person will be supplied during the class.  Price is per person.  No children under 12 allowed.   Paid participants only; no children unless they have a paid registration.

CANCELLATION POLICY -Due to the planning requirements for this event, there are no cancellations allowed, although you are welcome to give or sell your admission to someone else.
